TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made to stay at Wold Escapes, whether made via our website, by email or over the telephone. They contain important information about your stay and we kindly ask that you read these carefully. If there is anything you would like to discuss regarding your booking or these terms and conditions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

YOUR BOOKING REQUEST

The contract for a holiday rental will be between Wold Escapes (referred to as “us” or “we”) and the party leader making the booking and all members of the holiday party (referred to as “you” and “your”) in the following booking conditions.

 

Your booking will not be complete until you receive a confirmation number from us, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.

 

Please note Wold Escapes is part of the JSR Farming Group.  UK law will govern the contract.

 

The contract of hire is not effective until we have processed the deposit.  The contract is subject to these booking conditions and must be complied with.

 

The party leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking and their name will be on the booking form. The number of people staying must never exceed the maximum number allowed per room.

 

CABIN PAYMENT CONDITIONS

A deposit of 50% of the stay is required. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions. Full booking balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, voucher, and the following cards: Visa, Mastercard.

 

CABIN CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

If a booking is cancelled less than 28 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

If the booking is cancelled 28 or more days before arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.

In the event of a no show or reduced length of stay, the full cost of the booking is charged.

We advise that that guests take out holiday cancellation insurance when booking.

 

CABIN CHECK IN / OUT

  • Check in is between 3pm and 11pm. Check out time is by 10am.
  • A late check in service can be arranged for guests who are uncertain of their arrival time.
  • When you arrive you can check yourself into your cabin using the instructions which will be sent when you booked.
  • If you wish to use the sofa bed bedding, there is an additional charge to cover the laundry fee. This option will be made available when booking your stay.
  • Up to two dogs are allowed to stay with you at an additional charge of £10 per dog.
  • Each cabin contains; 1 set of towels each, bathrobes, bedding, hair drier, iron and ironing board, fridge, microwave oven, hob, pans, cutlery, crockery, glassware, torch, TV, kettle, toaster, smart TV and free Wi-Fi.

 

BED & BREAKFAST ROOMS PAYMENT CONDITIONS

Payment in full is to be made at least two weeks before the date of the stay. Payments accepted by cash, cheque, voucher, and the following cards: Visa, Mastercard.

 

BED & BREAKFAST ROOMS CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Free cancellation up to two weeks before the stay. If a cancellation is made within two weeks of the stay, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled within seven days of the stay, then no refund will be given.

In the event of a no show or reduced length of stay, the full cost of the booking is charged.

We advise that that guests take out holiday cancellation insurance when booking.

 

 

BED & BREAKFAST ROOMS CHECK IN / OUT

  • Check in is between 4pm until 6pm. If you are due to arrive later than this, we have a self-service check in system which will be explained in an email when you book.
  • Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9am on weekdays and between 8am and 9.30am on a weekend.
  • No dogs are allowed in our bed and breakfast rooms.

 

 

LIABILITY

The proprietors and employees at Wold Escapes shall not be liable to you or your party for any loss/damage to you or your property however caused. You must take all necessary steps to safeguard yourselves and your property.

 

WI-FI

Wold Escapes offer all our guests free Wi-Fi in their room or cabin.  All guests must agree not to use the broadband connection provided for any unlawful purpose.

 

CARE & USE OF THE PROPERTY

Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings at Wold Escapes, including any of the Bed & Breakfast rooms and the cabins. There is a designated smoking area outside if you do wish to smoke. Please respect other guests when smoking.

 

You are responsible for the property during your stay and are expected to take all reasonable care of its furniture, fittings and fixtures and effects in or around the property.

 

Should visitors cause disruption or fail to treat the property with due care, we reserve the right to request them to leave and to refuse further bookings.

 

We reserve the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.

 

BREAKAGE POLICY

A breakage deposit of £50 will be added to your payment.  This is fully refundable after your visit subject to no major damage being caused during your stay.  This does not apply to accidental breakages of small items but for larger damage caused to the property or its contents.

 

CHILDREN

Children of all ages are welcome in cabins and the bed and breakfast rooms. Please let us know if you need a travel cot setting up ready for your arrival.

Camp beds can be provided in the bed & breakfast rooms for an additional of £30 per bed.

 

PARKING

Wold Escapes provides free on-site parking for all guests.  All vehicles are left at the owner’s risk.  Wold Escapes shall not be liable for any loss/damage to your vehicle during your stay however caused.

 

Wold Escapes do offer use of an EV charger.  This is subject to availability and must be booked in advance through the office.  This is charged at £35 per use.

 

BICYCLES

Wold Escapes offers secure under cover bicycle storage.  All bicycles are left at the owner’s risk.  Wold Escapes shall not be liable for any loss/damage to your bicycle during your stay however caused.

 

ACCOMMODATION OFFERS

All offers are subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. For special offer bookings, these must be paid in full at the time of booking. Terms and conditions are subject to change. All offers are correct at time of publication, refer to the current rates valid and are for new bookings only. Pre-booking is essential. Offers cannot be applied to gift vouchers or special/public events unless otherwise stated.

 

LOST PROPERTY

In the unfortunate circumstance that you leave behind an item of property and request its return by post there will be a minimum fee of £5.00 plus the appropriate post and packing cost. Property that remains uncollected after 30 days will be disposed of or taken to a local charity shop.

 

FARMLAND

Wold Escapes site is next to and overlooking JSR Farming Group’s fields.  Guests must respect farmers at work and not interfere with their working practices.  Guests do have access to the footpaths over the private farmland but must stick to the designated footpaths only.  Guests are not permitted to walk over fields, through woods or enter into or go near any farm buildings, straw/hay stacks, farm machinery/vehicles.  Guests are not permitted to fish or angle in the farm’s streams.
