Its easy to find your way around Wold Escapes, and to make it that little bit easier here is a map of our site:

staying in one of our Glamping Cabins?

here is what you need to know:

  • Check in is between 3pm and 11pm. Check out time is by 10am.
  • When you arrive you can check yourself into your cabin using the instructions which will be sent when you booked.
  • Children of all ages are welcome. Please let us know if you need a travel cot setting up ready for your arrival.
  • If you wish to use the sofa bed bedding, there is an additional charge to cover the laundry fee. This option will be made available when booking your stay.
  • Up to two dogs are allowed to stay with you at an additional charge of £10 per dog.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any of the cabins or in the hot tub but there is a designated smoking area.
  • Parking for all guests is available on site and is free of charge.
  • Contact us if you want to use the EV charger.
  • Each cabin contains; 1 set of towels each, bathrobes, bedding, hair drier, iron and ironing board, fridge, microwave oven, hob, pans, cutlery, crockery, glassware, torch, TV, kettle, toaster, smart TV and free Wi-Fi.

Payment Conditions:

A deposit of 50% of the stay is required. The deposit will be refunded according to the cancellation conditions. Full booking balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, voucher, and the following cards: Visa, Mastercard.

Additional Check In Notes:

A late check in service can be arranged for guests who are uncertain of their arrival time.

Cancellation Conditions:

If a booking is cancelled less than 28 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.

If the booking is cancelled 28 or more days before arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.

In the event of a no show or reduced length of stay, the full cost of the booking is charged.

What to bring with you:

Our kitchens are equipped with all the essentials including plates, glasses, pans, tin openers and a bottle opener. You will need to bring our own food & drink unless you wish to pre-order any of our packages through the office when you book.

There are utensils if you wish to barbecue but you do need to bring your own charcoal, though this is available at the local garage.

We have several walks across our private footpaths around the farmland so you might want to pack your wellies or walking boots.

With that in mind we advise packing some comfy socks or slippers to keep the inside of the cabins clean.

You can bring your bikes with you if you wish to explore the area by bike. We have undercover secure bike storage on site.

Extras:

We offer a variety of extras which are all detailed on our extras page. All of these extras can be left ready for you in your cabin on arrival when you book and we ask that you give us as much notice as possible for bespoke requests and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Staying at our Touring Caravan Park?

Here is what you need to know

We want you to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay with us. To help everyone make the most of their time here and to ensure the smooth running of the site, we kindly ask all guests to follow the guidelines below.

Arrival & Departure:

  • Arrival is from 2:00 PM onwards.
  • Departure is by 12:00 noon.
  • Late departures may be available for a small fee.
  • Advance booking is required. Arrivals without a reservation are not permitted.


Payments

50% of the booking is payable when booking, full payment for your stay is required two weeks prior to arrival on arrival.

Site Conduct

  • Please observe all on-site speed limits.
  • Please respect our other guests onsite by keeping noise levels down. Our quiet times are from 10pm to 8am.
  • Keep your pitch clean and tidy.
  • Anti-social behaviour, rudeness, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from site.
  • The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the police.

Fires & BBQs.

  • Fires are only permitted in designated areas or fire pits.
  • Guests must not leave fires unattended.
  • Fire & BBQ bans may be enforced during dry weather.

Facilities & Usage

  • Please use water responsibly. Water play, washing vehicles, and filling paddling pools are not permitted.
  • Each pitch is supplied with a 10 amp electric hook-up. Please check that your caravan or motorhome's electrical load remains within the 10
    amp limit. Wold Escapes cannot accept responsibility for power interruptions caused by overloaded circuits.
  • Household waste must be bagged and placed in the correct bins (recycling facilities are provided).
  • All guests and their property remain on site at their own risk.
  • Maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. Dogs must be kept on a fixed lead at all times. Please clean up after your dog and use the bins provided.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended.

Vehicles & Parking

  • One car is permitted per pitch (additional vehicles must be pre-booked).
  • Electric vehicles can be charged at the designated charging point in the main car park. Guests are not permitted to charge cars using the touring park electric hook up.

Safety & Environment

  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • Drones are not permitted.

Campsite Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation.
  • 14–30 days before arrival: 50% of booking cost.
  • Less than 14 days or after arrival date: 100% of booking cost.

Gas bottles

  • Guests are responsible for the safe condition and use of their own gas cylinders, regulators, hoses and appliances. Gas cylinders must be kept upright, used only in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and stored outside in a well-ventilated area.
  • Spare cylinders must not be stored inside tents, awnings or enclosed buildings. Any suspected gas leak must be reported to our office immediately.
  • The management reserves the right to require the removal or
    disconnection of any gas cylinder or appliance that is considered unsafe.

STAYING IN ONE OF OUR BED & BREAKFAST ROOMS?

here is what you need to know:

  • Check in is between 4pm until 6pm. If you are due to arrive later than this we have a self-service check in system which will be explained in an email when you book.
  • Breakfast is served between 7.30am and 9am on weekdays and between 8am and 9.30am on a weekend.
  • Children of all ages are welcome. Please let us know if you need a travel cot or camp bed setting up ready in your room.
  • Unfortunately no pets are allowed in our Bed & Breakfast rooms.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings at Wold Escapes, including any of the Bed & Breakfast rooms. There is a designated smoking area outside if you do wish to smoke. Please respect other guests when smoking.
  • Parking for all guests is available on site and is free of charge.
  • If you are bringing your bike we have secure undercover bike storage on site.
  • We have one EV charger which is available to book on request, please contact the office for more details.

Payment Conditions:

Payment in full is to be made at least two weeks before the date of the stay. Payments accepted by cash, cheque, voucher, and the following cards: Visa, Mastercard.

Cancellation Conditions:

Free cancellation up to two weeks before the stay. If a cancellation is made within two weeks of the stay, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled within seven days of the stay, then no refund will be given.

In the event of a no show or reduced length of stay, the full cost of the booking is charged.

We have several walks across our private footpaths around the farmland so you might want to pack your wellies or walking boots.

Complimentary toiletries are in our bathrooms and don’t forget you’ll have a great Yorkshire breakfast to wake up to in the morning.
