The Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award

Accommodation

The accommodation is based on sharing a twin room in one of our on-site Bed and Breakfast rooms.  All of our B & B rooms have their own bathroom.

Our cookery school is situated in the countryside so there is plenty of outdoor space for students to exercise. There are wonderful walking routes around the private farmland. There is also a volleyball and badminton net on a large playing field, a comfortable lounge area and a games room which students have access to in their free time. Students are also given the opportunity to book our on-site Padel Tennis courts  at Wold Padel, should they wish to. The games room has a football table, giant Jenga, Uno, chess and other games which are great for breaking the ice!

Accommodation for Evening Prior to the Course Start Date

Subject to availability, accommodation for the evening prior to course start date can be offered at the discounted rate of £70 for single occupancy including a continental breakfast. Please note that students will be treated as regular Bed & Breakfast guests and therefore an evening meal will not be provided for this night.  For those students arriving by train, we can provide details of local taxi firms but sadly cannot provide a collection service.

We are close to Hutton Cranswick and Driffield railway stations.  Neither of these stations have taxi ranks.  Please feel free to contact us for details of local taxi firms.  Booking is essential.
