Before You Arrive

Can we have a late check-out?
Early check-in or late check-out may be available, subject to availability. If we can accommodate this, it is charged at £15 per hour.

How will I receive my key code?
You will be sent your farmhouse or cabin key code on the morning of your arrival. Key safes are located next to the doors and accessed using a four-digit code.

What are check-in and check-out times?
- Glamping cabins: Check-in from 3pm, check-out at 10am
- Farmhouse & B&B: Check-in from 4pm, check-out at 10am

How will I know which cabin is mine?
All cabins are clearly named on the front and back. You can also view our site map here: https://www.woldescapes.co.uk/useful-information/

Is there parking on site?
Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking. Some cabins (Amazing Grace, Zeus, Queen Bea and Waterlily) have dedicated spaces directly outside. Please avoid parking on the grass.

How many cabins are there?
We have nine glamping cabins, each with private decking and a hot tub.

Does the price include the hot tub?
Yes — all cabins and the farmhouse include a private hot tub.

Will the hot tub be hot when we arrive?
Yes, your hot tub will be ready to use on arrival. To maintain the temperature, we recommend replacing the lid after use, especially in colder weather.

Are the cabins heated?
Yes, all cabins are heated using air source heat pumps, keeping them cosy all year round.

Do you provide towels and bedding?
Yes — towels, bedding and bathrobes are provided in all cabins and the farmhouse.
If you are using the sofa bed, bedding must be added to your booking.

What facilities are included in the cabins and farmhouse?
Each cabin includes towels, bathrobes, bedding, a hairdryer, iron, kitchenette (with hob, microwave, fridge), cookware, crockery, kettle, toaster, Smart TV and free WiFi.
The farmhouse includes access to our fully equipped cookery school kitchen with a wide range of equipment, plates, cutlery and glassware.

Is there WiFi and phone signal?
Yes, we offer free WiFi. Mobile signal is available, although it can vary depending on your network.

Is there an EV charger?
Yes, we have one EV charger available via the Monta app. It operates on a first come, first served basis.

Yes, several takeaways deliver to Wold Escapes, including:

Please note that delivery availability can vary depending on your exact location, so we recommend checking directly when ordering.

Are there any pubs within walking distance?
The White Horse in Hutton Cranswick and the Farm Shop are both around a 30-minute walk and offer food and drink.
Things To Do

Are there things to do on site?
Yes — we have a padel court (Wold Padel), which can be booked via Playtomic.
Wold Escapes is set on a working farm, with several farmland walks available to guests, including a walk around our Chalk Stream Sanctuary.

What activities are nearby?
The Yorkshire Wolds offers fantastic walking and cycling routes right on your doorstep.
Nearby you’ll find:
- Driffield (local shops, cafés and pubs)
- The coast, including Bridlington and Fraisthorpe
- Farm shops, country pubs and scenic walking routes
Dogs

Are you dog friendly?
Yes — all of our glamping cabins are dog friendly. You can bring up to two dogs per stay (£15 per dog).
Please add them to your booking in advance.
The Farmhouse is not dog friendly as it operates as a cookery school during the week. -
Are there dog friendly places to eat nearby?
Yes, there are plenty nearby. Some of our favourites include:

Farmhouse & Groups

How many people does the farmhouse sleep?
The farmhouse has nine bedrooms (which can be made up as twins or doubles) and can sleep up to 18 guests.

Can we bring extra guests to the farmhouse?
Yes, additional guests can be added at a cost of £5 per person.

Can I put decorations up?
Yes — you’re welcome to decorate to make your stay special.
Please do not use sticky tape on the walls. Confetti and glitter are not permitted (including confetti-filled balloons).

How do I get logs and charcoal for the BBQ?
Logs, s’mores kits and charcoal must be pre-booked before your stay.
Each cabin has its own BBQ and fire pit.

Guests stay in our on-site B&B rooms within the farmhouse.

Do we need to bring anything?
Yes — please bring a cake box, cool box and an ice pack. Full details will be included in your confirmation email.

Yes — you can book a B&B room via our website or by calling us.

Can I have my own room?
No — due to room availability, single occupancy is not offered.

Can I attend with friends?
Yes — you can attend with up to 1–3 friends in line with Duke of Edinburgh guidelines.

- Hutton Cranswick: 2.5 miles (approx. 7 minutes)
