Wold Escapes shortlisted for two 2026 REYTA awards
We’re delighted to share some exciting news: Wold Escapes, our countryside retreat near Driffield in East Yorkshire, has been shortlisted for not one, but two 2026 Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards.
Two REYTA finalist places
We are finalists in:
- Remarkable Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year
- Remarkable Regenerative Tourism Business Award
The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards, better known as the REYTAs, celebrate the outstanding businesses and people helping to make Hull and East Yorkshire such a special place to visit.
Recognition for our Yorkshire Wolds accommodation
To be recognised in two categories for the second year running (not forgetting our win in 2024!) is an incredibly proud moment for everyone here at Wold Escapes.
These awards reflect what we set out to offer: memorable countryside escapes where tourism works in harmony with the natural environment and respects the East Yorkshire landscape we love so dearly.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has stayed with us, worked with us or supported us and shared in the Wold Escapes story.
Over the past few years, we have transformed Wold Escapes into the place it is today. We have expanded our collection of luxury glamping cabins, converted a little-used agricultural barn into indoor padel courts – Wold Padel – and created a brand-new 20-pitch touring caravan and motorhome park.
We have also installed air-source heat pumps in all our glamping cabins and the farmhouse, as well as adding new solar arrays across the site. These improvements are helping us grow while continuing to care for the countryside around us.
Throughout it all, our community, including local suppliers, trades, staff and guests, have offered encouragement and kind words that have meant so much. We’re thrilled to be representing our corner of the Yorkshire Wolds alongside so many remarkable tourism businesses.

The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Bridlington Spa on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
Whatever happens on the night, being named a finalist in two categories for the second year running is something we are enormously proud of, and… in true Wold Escapes style – we will be celebrating!
