Why choose a cookery course for your Gold Residential?

A cookery residential is a rewarding alternative to a traditional outdoor or activity-based course. It gives participants the chance to:

  • Complete the Residential section of their Gold Award
  • Become more confident and independent
  • Learn practical skills for university and adult life
  • Meet young people from different parts of the UK
  • Enjoy a supportive residential experience away from home
  • Prepare and enjoy plenty of delicious food
  • No previous cookery experience is required. Our courses are suitable for all ability levels, from complete beginners to confident home cooks.
