Our Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award Residential cookery courses are well underway at Wold Escapes for 2026, with 10 students joining us this week for another exciting season at the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School.
Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, our residentials continue to grow in popularity, offering young people a unique opportunity to complete the residential section of their Gold Award while learning valuable life skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

It’s fantastic to welcome our second group of the year. Over the course of the week, students will immerse themselves in hands-on cookery sessions, developing essential kitchen skills, confidence, and independence — all while enjoying a memorable residential experience away from home.
