Here at Wold Escapes in the heart of the East Yorkshire Wolds, we’re always looking for ways to make your countryside stay that bit more special. That’s why we’re excited to introduce two new experiences you can pre-order when booking: bike hire and Lumi Ice Bath Experiences. Whether you’re after a peaceful pedal through the surrounding countryside or an icy cold dip with wellness benefits, we’ve got you covered.

🚴 Bike Hire in the Yorkshire Wolds

We now offer bike hire in East Yorkshire – perfect for guests who want to explore the countryside on two wheels. We’ve got four mountain bikes available to book:

  • 2 Men’s bikes (Large + Medium)

  • 2 Ladies’ bikes (Large + Medium)

A full-day hire runs from 7am to 10pm and includes a helmet and bike lock, so you can cycle to a local pub, enjoy a well-earned meal or drink, and ride back safely.

Bringing your own bike? No problem – we’ve already got secure cycle storage on site, so you can rest easy knowing your pride and joy is safe (we know how pricey bikes can be these days!).

The East Yorkshire Wolds are full of quiet country lanes, ideal for scenic bike rides, and we’re right on the Way of the Roses, a popular coast-to-coast cycle route. It’s the perfect base for a cycling holiday in Yorkshire.

❄️ Lumi Ice Bath Experience in the East Yorkshire Wolds

If pedalling isn’t enough of a challenge, how about a dip in a Lumi Ice Bath? This new addition is proving very popular with guests looking for a wellness boost during their Yorkshire getaway.

Ice baths are said to help with recovery, circulation, and energy – and nothing wakes you up like a refreshing plunge (it makes a Yorkshire winter’s morning feel mild!).

Here’s how it works:

  • Your Lumi Ice Bath will be ready and filled on arrival.

  • Hire it for your entire stay for just £30.

  • Top ups on ice are available if you need them.

It’s the perfect complement to a long bike ride or run, or just a great way to try something new while you’re here in the Wolds.
