Wold Escapes are finalists in the REYTA awards for the third year running
We received the news last week that Wold Escapes are finalists yet again in the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourist Awards known as the REYTAs. This is the third consecutive year we have made it to the finals for the ‘Remarkable Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year’ award!
There is some strong competition and Wold Escapes is in some great company. To see the 2024 finalists for the REYTA awards check out the Visit Hull and East Yorkshire website.
Wold Escapes is located near Southburn, just four miles from Driffield, and is a glamping site, B&B as well as being home to the Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School.
Our glamping cabins opened in 2020 and are very popular with guests travelling from near and far to enjoy the peace of the Yorkshire Wolds. The cabins all have their own secluded spot with a hot tub overlooking the beautiful views, and inside contain a double bed, kitchen and ensuite bathroom.

There are some great businesses here in East Yorkshire, so to be in the top five is just brilliant. We’ve worked really hard this year getting two new glamping cabins up and running. We have also invested in solar panels and air source heat pumps to heat the cabins and hot tubs, so it’s been a busy year.”
The Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards are organised by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire, who promote visitors and tourism in Hull and East Yorkshire. The awards celebrate local businesses and the people who work within them. This year the winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at Bridlington Spa on 14th November.
